NIMS Released the vacancy for various posts.

The following positions have to be filled purely on temporary basis under the Project-

"Evaluation of WHO Verbal Autopsy tool

for assigning cause of death in rural India: A Mixed method study." under ICMR National institute of medical Statistics, New Delhi.

POSTS-

A. Computer Programmer.

  • Nom. of Posts - 1 (UR)

  • Age limit-  Below 30 Years as on last date of application . Age Relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC as per central government rules.

  • Consolidated Salary - 32,000/-

  • Duration - 2 Years  

  • Essential Qualifications- 

        

Masters' degree in Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Computer Science from are recognized institution/ university.

OR

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology/ Information Technology from a recognized institution/university.

 • Place and Working location- ICMR NIMS NEW DELHI.

B. Field Investigator

• Name Of the Post- Field Investigator

•Nom. of Posts - Two  , 1- UR, 1-OBC

• Age limit-  Below 30 Years as on last date of application . Age Relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC as per central government rules. • Consolidated Salary - 31000/- PM 

• Duration - 2 Years  

• Essential Qualifications- 

Graduate in Anthropology / Social Sciences/ Social Work/ Sociology/Psychology or any other Science. discipline from a recognized university with three years experience.

OR

Master's degree in the above subjects

• Nature of Duty- 

The project involves extensive field work so the person should be well versed with field related activities like survey methodologies, interacting with health care

•Working Location-

ICMR-NJIL&OMD-MRHRU Ghatampur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

C . Research Assistant-

  • Nom. of Posts - 1 (UR)

  • Age limit-  Below 30 Years as on last date of application . Age Relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC as per central government rules.

  • Consolidated Salary - 31,000/- PM

  • Duration - 2 Years  

  • Essential Qualifications- 

Graduate in Biostatistics / Social Statistics/Anthropology/ Social Work/ Sociology/Psychology or any other Science. discipline from a recognized university with three years experience.

OR

Master's degree in the above subjects

• Nature of Duties-

Quantitative and Qualitative Data Collection, Data analysis and report writing.

• Place of work- ICMR New Delhi & Kanpur( Uttar Pradesh)

D. Multi Tasking Staff

• Nom. of Posts - One (UR)

  • Age limit-  Below 25  Years as on last date of application . Age Relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC as per central government rules.

  • Consolidated Salary - 15,800/- PM

  • Duration - 2 Years  

  • Essential Qualifications- 

    High School or Equivalent.

• Place of work- ICMR NIMS New Delhi.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITION.

1. The Post is to be filled on purely temporary basis till the project lasts. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side .

2. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments at ICMR-NIMS or the ICMR .No other benefits are admissible as per ICMR rules.

3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

4. Leave shall be as per ICMR rules for project staff.

5. Age relaxation will be as per Govt. of India norms.

6. Qualification and experiences should be fromr recognized a university/organization/institution. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.

7. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee the selection.

8. Appointing authority reserves the right to consider or reject any application/candidature.

9. Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.

10. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification and the decision of the Selection Committeewill be final.

11.
